Georgios is a senior partner at the firm, bringing extensive expertise in corporate and administrative law. He is highly regarded for advising international corporations on complex matters related to corporate and commercial law, particularly in cross-border mergers. Additionally, he collaborates closely with semi-governmental organizations, providing advice on administrative law and public procurement.
Georgios has successfully argued administrative law cases before both the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal and the Administrative Court of Cyprus. His in-depth experience in public procurement law includes advising on public tender procedures on behalf of contracting authorities, as well as representing clients before the Tenders Review Authority.
As the firm’s lead partner on regulatory compliance, Georgios plays a pivotal role in guiding clients through stringent regulatory landscapes. His expertise in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations as well as his extensive training and practical experience, ensures that clients achieve and maintain compliance with international standards.
Georgios pursued his legal studies at Queen Mary University of London and earned an LLM in Corporate and Commercial Law from University College London (UCL), specializing in banking and the regulation of financial markets. He completed the Bar Vocational Course, qualifying as a barrister, and is a member of both the Cyprus Bar Association and the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn.
In addition to his legal qualifications, Georgios holds an MBA from the University of Cyprus, which complements his legal background with a deep understanding of business and strategic management.
